The Rite Aid on Route 1 up the street from Arts District Hyattsville is undergoing major renovations, which are almost complete.

The drugstore now has an entirely new interior that’s more open and airy and boasts classy wood floors, a GNC wellness section, and even a nail bar.

Other businesses along Route 1 have also spruced up a bit in recent months.

Shagga Coffee & Restaurant has a new sign and Franklin’s Restaurant, Brewery & General Store expanded and added a kinetic light mural to its exterior as well as more neon signage.
