The locally owned bicycle shop, which had been at the same location at 9217 Baltimore Ave. since 1972, will close on Thursday and Friday in preparation for the move.
The shop will be open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday, with a more elaborate grand opening sometime in the new year.
The new location just off the Rhode Island Avenue Trolley Trail will be helpful for participants in the bicycle shop’s regular group rides, owner Laurie Lemieux told the Hyattsville Wire.
