The Neighborhood Design Center invites residents of all ages to a family-friendly Community Scavenger Hunt on May 11th, from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at David C. Driskell Community Park. This event offers a blend of nature, art, and community engagement. Inspired by the legacy of the renowned artist David C. Driskell, participants will explore the park through a series of activities designed to highlight creativity and discovery of nature.
Activities include:
• Scavenger Hunt: Engage in exploration and discovery of nature through a scavenger hunt in the park.
• Weaving Looms: Experience interactive weaving as placemaking and creative community participation.
• Cyanotype Printing: Create unique and artistic prints using this distinctive photographic printing process with items from nature.
