Youth Transportation Safety Town Hall

Know a Prince George’s County High School student who is interested in transportation safety? Would they want to meet their elected officials and hear their priorities?
Do they want to learn how to advocate for their community? Do they need service hours? If the answer is “yes,” to any of those questions, sign up them up for our Vision Zero Youth Town Hall! They will also have the option of entering a DPW&T video competition to earn a $100, $75, or $50 gift card. The video competition details are available here. The theme of the video competition is: ‘Be Seen, Be Alert, Be Safe,’ to promote traffic safety.
This is a public event at the Hyattsville branch library. Food will be served to registered participants. Everyone must register to attend the event. The library has ample parking, and is a short walk from the Hyattsville Crossing metro station. We will have $100, $75, $50 gift cards to the top three finalists for the video competition here, and we will have prizes for honorable mentions.
