Kaizen Teriyaki Now Open in Hyattsville

A fast-casual teriyaki grill opened Thursday in Arts District Hyattsville.

Kaizen Teriyaki opened in the former location of the Hair Cuttery next to Chipotle and Tara Thai at 5501 Baltimore Ave., Suite 103.

Along with teriyaki, the restaurant offers standard American sushi rolls (California, salmon avocado, Philadelphia), a selection of its own fusion rolls (Dynamite Roll: fried salmon, crab meat and avocado with eel sauce and spicy mayo) and teriyaki (chicken, beef, salmon and shrimp).

Sides include miso soup, seaweed salad, edamame, spring rolls, fried dumplings and shrimp tempura.

It adds another casual option to the Arts District, which also has Busboys and Poets, Spice 6 Indian and Elevation Burger.

Kaizen Teriyaki will be open from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Sundays.
