9 Valentine’s Day Specials on the Route 1 Corridor

With Valentine’s Day just around the corner, some businesses on the Route 1 corridor are offering specials to help you share the love.

Below is a list of some nine Valentine’s specials from local businesses we’ve put together. As always, let us know in the comments if we missed anything.

Foodhini – Woodridge, D.C.: Valentine’s Feast for Two features Afghan Chicken Gormeh, Eritrean-style gnocchi and kale salad and an almond and cardamom cake.

Franklins Restaurant – Hyattsville : Valentine’s Day food specials include grilled filet mignon, baked wild rockfish and a cocktail for two called Love Potion No. 10.

Hotel at the University of Maryland – College Park: Special Valentine’s package includes a Deluxe King guest room, four paired wine and chocolate tastings and late check-in and check-out.

Maryland Meadworks – Hyattsville: Orders of its new citrusy mead Nahuazteca or bourbon-barrel aged coffee mead, which pairs well with chocolate-covered strawberries, can come with a box from Shortcake Bakery.

Pennyroyal Station – Mount Rainier: Valentine’s Day specials include a two-course meal kit with dessert and take-home cocktails for two, available for in-person dining or carry out.

Pyramid Atlantic Art Center – Hyattsville: A variety of handcrafted Valentine’s products from local artists, including cards, coasters, bandanas and arts available for purchase in their gift store.

Sugar Vault Desserts & Bakery – Hyattsville: Specials include a chocolate-covered Valentine’s Day strawberry cheesecake and various heart-themed cupcakes.
