Mount Rainier’s New Era Wine Bar Adds Weekend Brunch

The new Era Wine Bar, which held a soft launch last week, is now open for brunch on thw weekends.

The long-awaited Mount Rainier wine bar, the first of its kind on the Route 1 corridor, will be open from noon to 2:30 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays serving brunch classics such as steak and eggs, garden omelettes, French toast made with Challah and a smoked salmon board.

Located at 3300 Rhode Island Ave. next to Pennyroyal Station in Mount Rainier, the wine opened it’s doors last week with reservation-only seating.  Along with an extensive wine menu, it serves internationally inspired small plates like tandoori wings, lamb sliders and samosas.

Other popular spots for brunch on the Route 1 corridor include Saint Crispy’s in Brentwood, Shortcake Bakery, Busboys and Poets and Franklins in Hyattsville, Burton’s Grill and Bar in Riverdale Park, and the Hall CP in College Park.
