Miller’s Ale House Opens at Hyattsville’s Mall at Prince Georges

Miller’s Ale House officially opened its newest location at the Mall at Prince Georges today, after a long delay due to Covid-19.

The Florida-based chain, which is centered on beer, chicken wings and televised sports, was originally slated to open in March, but pushed the opening date back for its 93rd location when the pandemic curtailed indoor dining.

Located at 3430 East-West Highway, the restaurant offers curbside, to-go and delivery options from its website or through the Miller’s Ale House app on iPhone and Google Play. Deliveries are made within a five-mile radius of the eatery.

For those eating inside, face masks are required when entering, exiting and walking around the restaurant, but may be removed when seated at your table, eating and drinking. The restaurant is operating at 50 percent capacity, which means 160 people maximum can be seated, and its popular UFC fighting broadcasts are tentatively still on.

“We are following all health and safety recommendations from the CDC and state and local officials including their guidance when an employee tests positive or have come into contact with the virus,” a company spokesman told the Hyattsville Wire. “Our restaurants are deep cleaned and sanitized multiple times throughout each day and our team members are wearing protective gear, practicing social distancing and washing their hands frequently.”

The eatery’s menu features boneless chicken Zingers with sauces like sweet Thai chili, 75 varieties of beer and an extensive drink menu. There are also have several local beers on tap including Denizens Brewing Co. and Manor Hill Brewing. You can see daily specials here.

Miller’s Ale House also joins two other chain restaurants — Olive Garden and Outback Steakhouse — also located nearby in the mall’s parking lot.
